STUDY: Fan Return to Stadiums - On the Way to Normality?
Slowly but surely, Bundesliga stadiums are filling up again. After a long period of ghost games, followed by a cautious, gradual return of fans to the stadium, capacity is now being increased again immensely in many places, or capacity restrictions are even being lifted completely. Uniform admission regulations? Not a chance! That's why SLC Management initiated and designed a study right at the start of the pandemic to examine fan attitudes on the subject of a safe return to stadiums. After all, fans are the ultimate target group of concepts under discussion, are affected by measures and are essential for the potential utilization of permitted capacities.

In the anniversary edition of the 1000th Doppelpass at SPORT1, the 26th matchday was actually supposed to be discussed and the 1000th edition of Doppelpass was to be celebrated together with the live audience. The current corona situation, however, ensured - without a long lead time - that Bundesliga operations were paused for the time being and all events and crowds of people were rightly stopped. On the same weekend of the planned 26th matchday of soccer in Germany, the DFL responded quickly to the decision of the DFL and was always up-to-date.

As a long-standing expert and opinion researcher in the Bundesliga environment, Professor Madeja presented the fans' views on the much-discussed topic of pyrotechnics - based on representative opinion data collected by the station itself.

From the 29th to 30th of January, Europe's largest sports business event, the SPOBIS, took place in Düsseldorf. With over 3,500 participants, the majority being decision makers from key players in the European football business, more than 80 hours of program and 175 speakers, SPOBIS is the event in the European sports business calendar. Right in the middle of it, SLC Management again showing a strong presence with its own stand on the topic "Fact-based Monitoring in the international Sports-Eco-System" together with TÜV Rheinland.
