Fans advocate restricted return to the stadiums

In a representative survey, we asked more than 5,000 Bundesliga fans to comment, among other things, on spectators at major events and the launch of the European club

Contests questioned.
In Germany, all major events are prohibited until at least August 31. According to the decision of the
Federal Government of 17 June, events where contact tracing and compliance
hygiene regulations is not possible, and will not even take place until at least the end of October 2020. For this reason, the German professional leagues are currently working on concepts that will enable the spectators to return soon.
But whether the fans of the individual clubs actually want to attend the games live in the stadium under the given circumstances, SLC Management has interviewed 5,125 fans/customers of the Bundesliga online. The result showed that more than half of the respondents were in favor of the return of spectators to sporting events, but only to a limited extent, for example by observing the distance rules. In contrast, 13.6 % are of the opinion that no spectators should be allowed to attend in the near future.
Bundesliga start with fans
At the beginning of July, Saxony was the first federal state to admit more than 1,000 people to major events from September 1, provided that contact tracking is ensured. RB Leipzig had already had its developed safety and hygiene concept approved by the city's health department in advance, so that the way is clear for RB to start with spectators on the first Bundesliga match day (18 September).
More than 80% of those surveyed think it is good that spectators will be back in the stadiums at the start
be left. In this context, however, more than every second person speaks
for the fact that, with regard to the admission of spectators, the club-specificof existing concepts is decided. edit
In their recently sent out guide to the clubs of the Bundesliga and the 2nd Bundesliga for the return of
fans into the stadiums, the DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga points out that the local concepts of the clubs, which
which must be approved by the local health authorities, are crucial. This means that in the future it will be possible for spectators to be present in some stadiums, while other clubs will be allowed to be present before
empty ranks must play.
For the Bundesliga fans surveyed, this is not an acceptable state of affairs - almost three quarters speak
advocates that spectators should only be admitted when all clubs of the
League would have the approval of the authorities. Critical points from the fan's point of view are in this
connection especially the unequal conditions. More than 90 % are of the opinion,

that by admitting viewers, clubs have a competitive advantage over clubs that would not have clearance.
