THE BUNDESLIGA BAROMETER 2022/23 - BORUSSIA DORTMUND IN FIRST PLACE IN GERMANY'S MOST IMPORTANT BUNDESLIGA CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SURVEY
Runner-up in the league table - but champion with the fans: For the first time in 11 years, Borussia Dortmund is in first place in the Bundesliga Barometer - Germany's most important Bundesliga instrument for customer satisfaction and quality management.
"The fans rely on a neutral assessment. The Bundesliga Barometer, as the "voice of the fans, " is the tool to evaluate clubs. If the fan experience is first-class, this helps to make economic success more independent of sporting results." (Prof. Dr. Alfons Madeja, inventor of the Bundesliga-Barometer)
Already at the beginning of the digital age, the Bundesliga Barometer was implemented as an online survey tool by SLC Managing Director Maximilian Madeja. Thus, also on the 33rd and 34th matchday of the 2022/23 season, more than 5,600 fans were surveyed online about the satisfaction and quality management of their club. Borussia Dortmund landed in first place with an overall grade of 2.03, scoring particularly well in the "club" category (grade 1.44). FC Bayern München came in second with an overall score of 2.06. The record-breaking champions collected a lot of points, especially in the "club" category (1.44). The record champion scored particularly well in the "club image" (1.54) and "stadium" (1.85) categories. The two relegated teams FC Schalke 04 (grade 2.47) and Hertha BSC (grade 2.72) came in last
