ike most public events, the eps ARENA SUMMIT was cancelled last year. We are all the more pleased that the eps ARENA SUMMIT 2021 could take place from 06 to 07 October at the Deutsche Bank Park in Frankfurt.

In about 20 forums with more than 70 speakers, currently relevant pain topics of the industry were discussed and interesting and valuable thought-provoking impulses and insights for future projects were provided. Clearly, this year's industry gathering for the stadium and arena business focused on the all-dominant topic of recent months - the Corona pandemic and its short- and long-term consequences.

Of course, SLC Management was also represented by Managing Director Maximilian Madeja in its own forum "Corona and the Consequences - Data Insights: Stadium Attendance and Fan Experience Today and Tomorrow". There, together with Christopher Pauer, head of communications at Stadionwelt, the latest data insights were presented on visitors' behavior and perceptions when visiting stadiums, their expectations of an event experience, and their assessments of future changes. Since the beginning of the Covid19 pandemic, SLC Management has been permanently investigating the behavior and mindset of fans regarding stadium attendance in a long-term study as part of its data intelligence partnership with Stadium World. Because slowly but surely, spectators are returning to stadiums. Nevertheless, there is still a great deal of uncertainty among venue operators as to what event operations will look like in a "new normal."
