"Popularity study on the 2025 soccer Bundesliga" // Live release on stage @ SPORT MARKE MEDIEN
The popularity study on the German soccer league conducted by SLC Management, which surveyed a total of over 30,000 fans, reveals—for the 11th time—the unemotional factors that influence popularity for clubs, sponsors, and the media. Which Bundesliga club is the most popular and why? What makes a club popular in the first place? What is the connection between popularity and economic success? And how can these findings be used for communication, internationalization, and marketing measures by clubs and sponsors? [Click on graphic to enlarge]

We define the term "popularity" in detail using a unique market-oriented approach. The result is a comprehensive analysis of the concept of popularity that is relevant to the entire soccer market. Interpretations, background information, and recommendations for action provide starting points for communication and marketing measures as well as for controlling investments and involvement in the Bundesliga.
The 2025 popularity study—for the first time with an overall ranking for the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga—will be published live on stage with high-profile speakers at the SPORT MARKE MEDIEN Congress in Munich. Be there and be the first to find out the popularity ranking and then benefit from the unique congress discount!
